Sem listamaður, I feel bound to be open að vinna í missmunandi mediums and grow through process. Í listinni minni, I often explore rými through installations and its relationship to human experience af heiminum. Ég fæ innblástur frá umhverfinu and the cultural understandings related to the location. My interest in ancient cultures and rituals kemur frá að hafa alist upp í Tyrklandi, en í listinni minni; I explore spurninguna um hvað eru okkar rituals and understandings of the universe. Að lenda á milli Tyrkneskrar og Íslenskrar menningar, allows me to look at things from different perspectives á meðan ég held áfram í my search in understanding material and social norms. Through tíma, I’ve developed mikinn áhuga á að vinna með leir og þróa mig í því en ég sé material as the bridge between the viewer and I, sem listamaður. I accept that the process, materials and concept can work together sem eitt and allow myself að vinna í harmoníu með þeim. That’s where mér liður ekki bound to the material, rather I feel I can work with what’s available or hvað the work requires. My works are described sem “fallega kaótísk” og “maður býr til samhengi þó að maður skilur ekki” and I find excitement í því. I often work with loaded spurningar en mér finnst gaman að leika mér með þessum spurningum in a non-öskrandi átt þar sem verkið er svo hlaðið that our logic is confused and our senses come to surface.
